Hi sugarplums 🙂 Hope you have been relaxing and enjoying this week lead up to Christmas, snuggled up by the fire or skiing somewhere or baking cookies with red and green sprinkles. I have really been enjoying being home with my family and wandering around Charleston like the old days. It’s so nice to be reunited with my brother, who is a photographer and obviously knows me so well on and off camera. Yesterday we ran around town to do three shoots (with me changing in the car haha- I’m sure other bloggers can relate to the sometimes not so glamorous behind the scenes!). We rewarded ourselves with coffees from my favorite café in Charleston, Black Tap.
Instead of a typical Christmas post, I wanted to put a little spin on things by celebrating my favorite reindeer- Vixen! It always struck me as kind of funny that there was a reindeer named Vixen, as the terminology is related to sexiness, rather than most innocent and sweet Christmas tales. To me, Vixen is a femme fatale, but one that is cheery and Christmassy as well. I think my skirt fits this character perfectly as it is woven with care, but also lives life on the fringe!
This will be my last post before Christmas, so a very merry holiday to all of you! Talk soon xo
